A priest and pastor from the local parishes are standing by the side of the road holding up a sign that reads, "The End is Near! Turn yourself around now before it's too late!"

They planned to hold up the sign to each passing car.

"Leave us alone you religious nuts!" yelled the first driver as he sped by.

From around the curve they heard screeching tires and a big splash.

"Do you think," said one clergy to the other, "we should just put up a sign that says 'Bridge Out' instead?"

A certain faith group came up to me one morning while I was walking my dog, and tried to convert me right then and there "Please come to our Bible, we'd love to have you, and we teach the truth."

I'm just like o...k.

I'm 15 and they want me to convert? I don't know enough about my OWN religion, let alone these folks lol.

The other day I was shopping and this guy and girl walked up to my friend and I and they were trying to get us to listen to their whole speech and what not, so I didn't want to be rude so I was like you know, "I'm sorry, I have to get going, I am running late", and they're like well if you give us $15 we'll give you this (their "bible") and then you can take it home and take more time to decide!!!

I was seriously thinking that these people are frickin' morons and couldn't believe they were trying to get money out of me to listen to their garbage!!

People never cease to amaze me!!!

Whats with cults trying to recruit people? The people who talked to me gave me this little magazine, I tried to refuse, but eventually just took it to shush them up!

I live right down the street from a Jehovah Witness church, and they're always at our door. We keep telling them that we're Roman Catholic and to leave us the heck alone, but they don't lol. They're like "Oh we don't care about that. Blah blah blah blah blah." Once they showed up and kept my step-dad outside for ATLEAST an hour, all the while he's trying to be nice and tell them we don't wanna convert.



Mormons were here the other day too....

Yep, those were JWs that I talked to- i lied about having a soccer game 2 attend just so i could get away! My poor dog was just sitting there bored that whole time...

I once heard from my step-dad that this one pastor went the mormons came to the door whent hey handed him stuff, he handed them stuff and said "thanks, now I have something to wipe my ass with"
