Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you know that my album is done being mastered and was sent off for duplication last week! It's called "On My Own" and it's going to be released online in about a month, and then it will be in stores 6-8 weeks after that!

I added "Leaving It All Behind", my new single, to the music player on the main page of JordanJohnson.com, and I also updated the music section with clips of some of the new songs.

I'll post again as soon as I have an exact release dates for the album!

Wow, this sounds really great! im so excited i can't wait to buy my copy!! I noticed though that "ain't nobody" wasnt a track listed on the album. I was wondering if you were going to release it, or maby it would a free mp3 for all your fans

Yep, the full mp3 that's downloadable with purchase is going to be "Everything's For You" though. Maybe I'll do a contest or something where the winner gets the full version of "Ain't Nobody" as an mp3.

Glad to see that you finally got it done.. Getting an album out takes alot of work and effort.. That's for sure. I'm starting to work on one myself and it's alot of work and effort.

I'm sure you're great, but you're not going to get toooooo far without some pictures of your face. Your abs are cool, but I'd rather see a face and hear some music when I am checking out a new artist.

The distribution I'm going through is national so I think the only way it will be available in Canada is through one of the online stores that it will be distributed through!

LOL.. Thanks for the comments on the abs. I actually have a photo shoot coming up with a known photographer in Los Angeles, CA. Someone kept telling me to put up them pictures on MySpace so I took the liberty and did it anyway!

... I have to get it recorded first!

Jordan, What is the distribution that your going to be using? Orchard I'm guessing?

Thanks for the comments on the letters on the website.. My designer will appreciate that.

I own a record label Josh. PM him if you are curious as to what company he is using, when you have a great deal with a company, people aren't usually willing to just pour out that information.

With my company, I don't lay out every last detail, this business is full of cheaters, and I know I am not one to just give away what I negotiated for my company to just anyone. Ecspecially the competition.

I guess it's the business. I know Jordan has worked extremely hard for the album and deals with distribution/duplication that go along with it. He has done it all himself, no help from producers or managers.

If I were him, I would feel like my album has already gone Gold!

"Those People".....have ghetto phones that don't tell them that they have voicemails..until like 10 years later....and half the time the phone doesn't even ring so that person has no idea that they have a phone call....so we need to blame it on the ghetto cell phone...lol..

I got almost 15 hours of sleep last night which about more than I get in a week combined..lol...so now we're some well rested insomniacs....what a great oxymoron..... LOL

Yes, I will probably goto sleep at like 11pm tonight (Monday) .... I am just sitting here drinking flav water and listening to VH1 lol. No sleep for me tonight.

Well... I'm not sure you would consider me a "competitor"... I don't own a record label.

I was just asking a general question.

Tracks sound good.. I have a few tracks that I think you would like, that I have penned. As I said I am a writer, and two particular tracks that I have on my roster would be great with your voice.. If you bring writers on board for your next album, give me a call..
