This organization is having a Hurricane Katrina benefit concert on October 24th at the Henderson Pavilion which is pretty much in Las Vegas.
Young Professionals for International Cooperation is a subgroup of UNA-USA, which is the UN Association of America. Their purpose is to promote awareness about international issues and help out when problems arise.
The estimated final costs of Hurricane Katrina cleanup could be more than 200 Billion dollars! Will you help simply by reposting this?
Through this concert, the YPIC hopes to give American citizens a chance to help out those affected by the storm. Although on their own , individuals can't afford to give too much...together we can raise more. REPOST FOR THEM...spread the word!
If we help them fill this 6,500 person venue, we could help raise more than $100,000. Proceeds would go to the Red Cross who is the major on location charity supporting the relief efforts.
