To Jordan? Doesn't " Do Something" Like have 3 cords and a basic hook? that's been used in a few other songs? I don't know much about music. But I have to say "Get Ya" is much better and a little bit more complex?

Yep. "Do Somethin'" isn't too intricate of a song. But I guess the drum pattern and the arrangement of the vocals and such is similar enough that they think they have a case ::shrugs::. And I agree that "Get Ya" seems more complex (I actually like it better!)
