Is anyone going to see it tonight?

I read the book, and finished it about 2 weeks ago!

I am excited to see how close they are to the book.

Has anyone else read it?

I bought the author's other book "Everyone Worth Knowing" but I left it in a box in O-town....now I am interested to read it more than when I purchased it.

Anyways, I leave work in 45 minutes, and I have to book a car to take me to my house in Otown from the aiport tomorrow so peace out!

so i just went to the theater to get a ticket for the 4:55pm showing, and it is sold out, and so is the 7:45 one. i am going to see the 10:45 one, it is only 1 hour and 45 mins, so i should be out before 1am, and in bed by 1am, i have to wake up at 6:30 to get to the airport by 7:20am.

i am going downstairs to get some laundry done.

I liked the book better as well.

I disagree, I liked the movie a lot more. Miranda could have been more evil yes and that "divorcing because of career dedication" thing was predictable but I liked how they chopped out Lily the alcoholic friend I found that part pretty unnecessary. I really liked how, in the movie, Andrea decides to do better because I really didn't see how Miranda wouldn't have fired her for her incompetence early on in the book. Anyway this is pretty long now, basically those are my thoughts on the movie.

Hmm, I kinda wanna read the book now just to see all the differences.

Well, the majority have said the book was better, and I am sticking to that, as I have said that from the beginning. The book was more brasen (spelling?) The movie showed how Hollywood can kill a decent story. The book was being told from Andy's POV, and the book's focus was Andy's tries and tribulations between work and her life, and how much the job actually meant to her. The ending of the book was much more bittersweet, but for the superficial who like the predictable Hollywood upchuck of a decent book, I cannot argue with you. Read the book if you haven't. It's much better.

My sister got it for Christmas so I think I'm gonna try to borrow it from her and read it over the next couple weeks hahaha.

When I started reading it, I honestly never wanted to put it down. I didn't watch TV for a week, I just read every chance I had. I begged for the trains to be slow on my way to work so I had an extra 5-10 mins with the book.
But whatever, everyone's views are different. I love democracy.

Oh, and I have been awake since 5am on Thursday.

The book was still hands down better than the movie.
