Jessica Simpson’s mum and dad had row over how sexy Jessica should be in a recent photoshoot.
Jessica was posing for a shoot for America’s OK magazine which involved her lying on a bed in her underwear, while a male model buttoned his shirt on the bed behind her.
Her father and manager, Joe Simpson, thought it was a great idea but mum Tina wasn’t having any of it, afraid it would ruin Jessica’s clean-cut image.
A source at the photo session told the magazine that Tina shouted: “Time out! Hold it. Nope, this isn’t going to work.”
“Tina dug in her heels and said there was no way she’d allow Jess to appear in the layout the way it was designed. She said the pose was too risque and made Jessica look slutty. Joe was perplexed.”
The parents then went off to one side to have rather heated discussion about it which ended with Tina reportedly saying: “Trust me, I’m her mother. This isn’t the image we want.”
The cover picture for Jessica’s forthcoming album “A Public Affair” has been toned down too, according to TMZ.com.
